Turkey is a highly digestible protein source which can be suitable for dogs with digestive issues. Rich in protein and reasonably low in fat and contains riboflavin and phosphorus and can be an essential part of your dog food diet.

Sweet potatoes are a dietary fibre source and contain vitamin B6, vitamin C, beta carotene, and manganese.

Turkey Breast

Turkey breast is lean heart-healthy protein and low in calorie white meat. High in Selenium and Tryptophan, both of which benefit the immune system.

It also contains micronutrients in the form of vitamins and minerals. While it is very similar to chicken, turkey can hold slightly more specific vitamins and minerals than chicken. For dogs with food sensitivities or food allergies to chicken, turkey can be an alternative option.

Sweet Potato

Sweet potatoes are a good source of potassium, manganese and magnesium. They also contain calcium, iron and zinc but are low in sodium. These minerals are vital to your furry’s good health. For example, potassium is needed to maintain the right fluid balance in the body, as well as to preserve nerve transmissions and muscle function.

Sweet potatoes are high in dietary fibre which is great for digestive health. Plus, thecontain very little fat. Both characteristics make sweet potatoes healthy additions to your dog’s diet.

Celery

Celery is very low in fat and cholesterol, which makes it an excellent ingredient for overweight dogs. an excellent source of fiber, vitamins A, C and K, as well as folate and potassium. A medium-sized stalk of celery (about 7 to 8 inches long) has fewer than 6 calories. This crunchy vegetables is good for your dog’s teeth and gums, may even help freshen your dog’s breath. 

Cauliflower

Among many other benefits, cauliflower contains glucosinolates and thiocyanates, compounds proven to increase the liver’s ability to neutralise potentially toxic substances that, if not properly detoxified, can damage cell membranes and molecules such as DNA within the cell nucleus. Cauliflower for dogs is also a great source of Vitamins C and K as well as folate and manganese.

Spinach

Spinach is an excellent source of Vitamins A, B complex, C, K, magnesium, manganese, iron, calcium and potassium. It is high in protein, fibre, phosphorus, Vitamin E, zinc and copper. It is also a good source of beta-carotene, selenium and omega-3 fatty acids.

Spinach is particularly good for dogs who need to ward off inflammatory and cardiovascular problems.

Pumpkin Seed

Pumpkin seed contain vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. They provide anti-inflammatory benefits, which can help with irritation, inflammation known to decrease chronic anal gland disease. The oil found in pumpkin seed is also believed to support urinary health, aiding dogs with urinary disease.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil contains a lot of medium chain fatty acids (MCFAs) including lauric acid, which is a fabulous immune builder. It gently elevates the metabolism, provides a higher level of energy and vitality, protects your dog from illness and speeds healing.

It also helps to reduce allergic reactions, disinfect cuts and wounds and soothe cracked pads. Coconut oil is the perfect ingredient for your furry’s skin and coat.
